On-Site Upholstery Services

Measuring, inspection and fitting where the furniture cannot come to us

On-site

Some jobs belong on site: long banquettes, fitted window seats, hotel rooms that cannot empty into a van, or a restaurant that can only give you a Monday. On-site work for us is measuring, inspection and fitting — the sewing still happens in Hayes, where the machines and bench are.

Access, parking, lift size and a named site contact matter as much as the fabric. We will not promise a full on-site recover of a sofa that should have come to the workshop.

Hayes is the bench. Covers come off here. If a job is better measured or fitted on site, we will say so — we will not pretend every sofa can be recovered in a hallway.
What this actually includes

Explained, not just listed.

01

Site survey

Sizes, access and how the piece is fixed to the building.

02

Hayes sewing

Covers still cut and sewn on the bench, then brought back.

03

Fitting slot

A booked window that respects trading or housekeeping.

04

Clear limits

We say what cannot be done in a corridor with a staple gun.

How the job runs

From photos to a piece you can sit on.

A clear path from first pictures to workshop finish — so you always know what happens next.

  1. Photos plus constraints

Hours you can give us, stairs, and whether pads lift off.

  2. Survey or measure

On site if the photos are not enough.

  3. Workshop make

    Covers prepared to the measurements.

  4. Fit

Back on site in an agreed slot.

Honest comparison

Advantages & disadvantages

What this service does well — and what to weigh up before you commit.

Advantages

  • Useful when furniture cannot leave the building
  • Banquettes and fixed seating can be fitted in place
  • Less disruption for some commercial installs
  • Measure and fit can happen in one planned window

Disadvantages

  • Site access, power and clean working space are required
  • Dust and noise still affect occupied rooms
  • Complex sewing is still better done in the workshop
  • Parking and loading near the entrance matter

This page is a good fit if…

  • Fixed hospitality seating
  • Rooms that cannot release furniture for a week
  • Jobs that are mostly fitting, not a hidden frame rebuild
